- (Updated Dec. 13, 2024) Guilford College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award baccalaureate and master's degrees. Degree-granting institutions also may offer credentials such as certificates and diplomas at approved degree levels. On Dec. 8, 2024, SACSCOC continued the institution’s accreditation for Good Cause and continued the institution on Probation for twelve months for failure to comply with Standard 13.3 (Financial responsibility) and Core Requirement 13.1 (Financial resources).
