"Hi! I am originally from New Orleans, La., but now reside in the beautiful city of Jamestown. I’ve been with Guilford College since March 2009 and with the Office of Financial Aid since July 2011. It’s been such a joy getting to know so many students from various parts of the world. It’s my mission to serve each and every student with quality customer service. I encourage all students to speak up and be proactive in understanding their financial aid and all the responsibilities that come with it. And, if you have questions or concerns, reach out to us — it’s our job to support you in attaining all the resources possible for funding your education. I’m looking forward to meeting you!"

"I am 2010 alumna of Guilford College. I embraced all Guilford has to offer. I enjoyed the diversity of the student body and all of the amazing thoughts and conversations that came out the classroom experience. I am the mother of one child who is the love of my life. My hobbies are gaming, photography and amateur website building. As for the work I do for Guilford, I am a Data Analyst for the Office of Financial Aid. I manage all things technical and data-related. I bring in the FAFSA and loans information that allow our department to award aid to our students."

"When people ask me where I’m from my answer would be 'everywhere.'  I grew up in a military family, with both parents in the Navy, where we moved every six months to two years and home was merely a concept. I can’t say I always enjoyed that growing up, but I can appreciate now how the experience of being exposed to different people and cultures has shaped who I am as a person today. Our family finally settled down in 1997, and I’m happy to call North Carolina my home."

"Guilford College has been in my background for a long time. My daughter graduated from Early College at Guilford, and I got the opportunity to see through her eyes how Guilford embraces the light within each student and encourages each to shine their brightest. I love supporting our Financial Aid staff in helping students find ways to overcome financial obstacles in the way of their pursuit of their passion. Among the things I love are hanging out with my awesome family, live music at Doodad Farm and other great local spots as well as bigger live shows (John Prine is a favorite!), the mountains, my husband’s old Volkswagens, gardening and taking random drives with the GPS turned off."
