The Guilford College Commitment

Choosing your college home should be about finding your perfect fit — not cost. That’s why the Guilford College Commitment exists.

Guilford College is committed to giving every first-time, undergraduate applicant generous institutional aid. Offers start at $15,000 per year and go up to $27,000 per year or more, depending on your academic success. Yes — Guilford promises every new student at least $15,000 a year in financial aid — and even more if you show us you're a leader and an achiever.

You may also qualify for up to $12,000 more through federal and state financial aid programs. Every student, no matter their family's income, should file the FAFSA (it opens Oct. 1) to see how much they're eligible to receive. In fall 2022, the average financial aid offer with all sources of aid (federal work study and federal loans included) was $36,500 per year.

Plus, Guilford College is dedicated to making your on-campus experience affordable. We offer a $4,000 Guilford Housing Grant to any student who lives on campus. (Contingent to living on campus.)
