Fun Ways to Fitness

Sports are a great way to stay in shape, connect with other students, develop leadership skills and have fun! Guilford’s variety of team and individual sports ensures participation opportunities for every member of the College community. You can start a new club sport or join an existing one by working with the Office of Student Leadership and Engagement.

Intramural Sports

Intramurals are played by students from the same school, and teams are typically organized by residence hall. You can also form a team with friends and compete against anyone at the College.

Varsity Athletics

Guilford competes in NCAA Division III as a member of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC). Student-athletes participate in several varsity sports. Women's teams include: basketball, cross country, lacrosse, rugby, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track and field, triathlon, and volleyball. Men's teams include: baseball, basketball, cross country, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, and track and field.
