Five master’s degree-seeking students make up the second class of Guilford College Presidential Fellows, who this fall will begin or continue their graduate studies at the College and serve as community leaders and co-workers in five administrative areas.

The Presidential Fellows are Julius Burch ’23, Grace Calus ’23, Delaney Nightingale ’23, Gracie Mayer ’23 and Lydia Saunders ’23. The students were chosen in an application and interview process this spring and, for up to 18 months (the duration of their master’s programs), they will receive tuition, on-campus housing, a meal plan and a stipend in turn for 20 hours of work per week in an administrative office. In addition to receiving mentorship and professional development through the Fellowship program, they will contribute to service projects and occasional volunteer projects on campus (in turn, mentoring current undergraduate students and offering campus stewardship).
