Lady Jimenez Torres is the Policy Director at the Consortium, where she brings a wealth of knowledge in state policy and advocacy. She joined the organization in 2022 and has since expanded its work in creating equal access for all immigrant youth in education, healthcare, and justice across New Jersey.

Lady holds a B.S. in Sociology from New Jersey City University and a Master’s in Public Administration from Rutgers University. Prior to joining the Consortium, she worked for the City of Union City Mayor’s Office and NJ Senate District Office (LD33) for 7 years, where she oversaw Constituent Services, worked with key stakeholders on Public Policy Initiatives, and managed Legislative Affairs for the district office.
Lady emigrated to the US when she was 10 years old and her family settled in New Jersey.
