All students should be aware that North Carolina has specific penalties and laws regarding the possession, manufacturing, and distribution of marijuana and/or other drugs, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, transportation of open containers of alcohol, possession and consumption of malt beverages and unfortified wines on city owned properties (i.e. sidewalks, streets, parking lots, etc.), and unlicensed alcohol sales to minors.
