Outside Scholarship Resources
Guilford College is committed to helping make your dream education affordable. In addition to institutional scholarships and grants, the Office of Financial Aid has reviewed and assembled the following list of outside scholarship resources.
As you continue your scholarship search, it's important to protect yourself from fraud.
TIPS:
- Never pay to apply for or search for a scholarship.
- Review the third-party privacy policies of each search site to learn how they use your personal information and with whom they share it.
- Be wary of the information you are presenting to a potential scholarship resource like Social Security Number, Date of Birth etc.
- Check out https://finaid.org/scholarships/scams/ for additional information on scams
If you receive a scholarship outside of Guilford College, please notify the Office of Financial Aid at financialaid@guilford.edu. . Institutional policy is to apply outside scholarships to any remaining financial need. If you do not have remaining financial need, we will reduce federal work study and/or loans prior to making changes to any already awarded grants or scholarships. The total amount of your financial aid from all sources cannot exceed your cost of attendance.
