The Roommate will be performed as a fundraiser for Guilford College's Dept of Theatre Studies featuring Tiffany Holland '97 playing Sharon, recently divorced and looking for a roommate to share her Iowa home. Theatre Studies Co-Chair Beth Ritson plays Robyn, who is searching for a place to hide—and a chance to start over. As Sharon begins to uncover Robyn’s secrets, she is drawn toward her own long-buried desire for transformation. The Roommate is a dark comedy about what it takes to re-route your life—and what happens when things start to spin out of control.
