The first public night at the Cline Observatory at Guilford College will be Friday, September 26th at 7 pm. The topic of the evening will be Uranus! Every family has one weird relative. For the solar family, it’s Uranus. Come to Astronomy open house on Friday September 26th and learn all about the planetary oddball. Prof. Thom Espinola will present a multimedia program, starting at 7 pm in the planetarium. The presentation will be followed by observing at the rooftop Cline Observatory, weather permitting. The event is free, no tickets are required, and families and children are always welcome.
