Kristen McManus is Guilford’s New Registrar

Guilford Provost Maria Rosales named Kristen McManus, the former deputy registrar at Carolina University who has more than 20 years of higher education administrative experience, as the College’s next Registar.

“Kristen comes to us with a wealth of relevant experience and expertise, a strong respect for those with whom she will be working at all levels of the college, and a desire to help us make our systems easy and clear for students and colleagues,” says Rosales.

Before working at Carolina University, Kristin was interim associate dean of advising services at Winston Salem State University. Prior to that she was an associate director at the University of North Carolina Charlotte for a summer bridge program for primarily at-risk and minority students.

Kristen started at Guilford this week. Her hiring is one of several personnel announcements made by the Provost this month.
