East Asia Awaits

Learn about medieval Japan, Imperial China, East Asian theatre, Buddhism, Daoism and much more as an East Asian Studies minor. You’ll enjoy an interdisciplinary education on the cultures, history and current issues in East Asia. Acquire a basic understanding of a portion of East Asia’s history and the region’s perspectives, values and contributions as you broaden your perspective of the world. The minor helps you better understand your own culture and global interdependence in the 21st century. International Studies majors fulfill a requirement by studying abroad in Japan or China.
