Kristie Wyatt is the Assistant Director for the Accessibility Resource Center where she provides supportive services for students with disabilities and alternative learning needs. She received her Masters of Public Health in Community Health Education from the University of North Carolina and her B.A. from Guilford College ('03). Prior to her current role she served the campus through her work as the Wellness Education Coordinator and as a Student Success Mentor/Community Director. She has served on the College's Title IX Compliance Committee, Diversity Action Committee, Sexual Violence Response Committee, and has been the faculty advisor for a number of student clubs and organizations.
Areas of expertise include student health and wellness, sexual and gender based violence prevention, crisis management, resource navigation, and federal compliance (Title IX/ ADA).
Research areas include workplace wellness and chronic disease management.
Course instruction: First Year Experience
