Guilford College recognized the achievements of students, faculty and staff Wednesday during its annual Spring Awards ceremony in the Carnegie Room.

The ceremony traditionally highlights excellence across campus, with academic department awards, scholarships and special recognition for educators and staff members whose work has made a lasting impact on students and the broader College community.

This year’s recipients of the prestigious Bruce B. Stewart ’61 Awards for Teaching & Community service were:

  • Jill Peterfeso, Eli Franklin Craven and Minnie Phipps Craven Professor of Religious Studies, received the Tenured/Teaching Excellence Award for her outstanding teaching, dedication to student learning and sustained contributions in the classroom.
