President Farmbry Announces New Presidential Fellows

The five fellows will receive support for their continuing academic pursuits at the graduate level at Guilford while gaining practical experience in higher education.

President Kyle Farmbry announced the five members of Guilford’s second class of Presidential Fellows this month.

Julius Burch ’23, Grace Calus ’23, Delaney Nightingale ’23, Gracie Mayer ’23 and Lydia Saunders ’23 will begin or continue their studies as master’s students at Guilford this fall and serve as community leaders and co-workers within the College.

President Kyle Farmbry said all of the new Fellows are well regarded in the campus community for their leadership and accomplishments. “I’m excited that those leadership skills will be with us a little longer and all their future accomplishments will make Guilford even stronger,” says Kyle.

All five Fellows will receive support for their continuing academic pursuits at the graduate level at Guilford while gaining practical experience in higher education working in Advancement & Alumni Relations, Communications and Marketing, the Provost’s Office, Admission and Finance.

The students will work up to 18 months (the duration of their master’s programs). In exchange for their work, they will receive tuition, on-campus housing, a meal plan and a stipend.
