I have worked with college students for over a decade. In August of 2017, I joined the Guilford College Counseling Center. Having worked with a diversity of populations and a broad range of treatment concerns, I consider myself a generalist. My approach to therapy draws from multiple perspectives, including psychoanalytic theory, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. I am also informed by queer and humanistic philosophical traditions.
In short, I aim to meet students where they are -- without passing judgment -- and I help them move toward life changes they wish to pursue.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, cooking, hiking, and making music.
My pronouns are he/him/his.
