Students to Serve on Greensboro College Commission

Guilford students José Oliva and Caleb Anderson have been appointed to the Greensboro College Commission, a new advisory group dedicated to promoting civic engagement among students of the city’s seven institutions of higher education.

Created by the Greensboro City Council, the 12-member commission will hold its first meeting Tuesday, Jan. 27.

A sophomore, José is president of Community Senate and a Bonner Scholar. A first-year student, Caleb is a member of Community Senate, a student-athlete and a participant in the Quaker Leadership Scholars Program.
