This presentation was based on research she has been conducting in collaboration with the Immigrant Rights Working Group of Greensboro since 2015 on the experiences of immigrant residents of the Triad who have been detained and, in some cases, deported. Several students in the community and justice studies major have been integral in helping conduct this research.
