Guests of Honor
Greg Stolze is the author of both fiction and roleplaying games, widely known for his writings in Unknown Armies and White Wolf. He's gonna be giving talks on game development and publishing, plus hanging out with all us crazy con folk.
They dance with fire, they crack a fiery whip and they are performing the Toxic show. Some are graduates of Guilford, others are just friends. They are all around awesome.
European Medieval Arts of Arms
The EMAA Knights are coming to do live-steel demos of Medieval-style swordfighting. They have swords. Be nice.
Dave Dobson: Snood
You know that addicting game called Snood that you play all the time? Well the author/creator, our very own Dave Dobson, is going to be talking about video games and stuff.
Mae Kalwaic: Founder and "Dictator for Life"
Mae, the founder of Yachting Club, returns! I believe it's been a while since she's come to visit, but she was able to come this year. Mae's going to be having a panel and a sci-fi writing workshop during the con.
Jennie Breeden: Devil's Panties
Jennie Breeden is the awesome webcomic author/artist of the popular thing known as "The Devil's Panties." We're very afraid of her and hope she doesn't eat us.
Phillip Wright: Furmentation
Phillip Wright is the awesome webcomic author/artist of the popular thing known as "Furmentation." He's a Guilford grad, and we don't ask him what his thing is with hamsters.
Matt Wood (and hopefully Dave Milloway and Stephanie Freese): The DaDa Detective, Likely Stories
Matt Wood and Dave Milloway and Stephanie Freese are awesome people involved with "The DaDa Detective," "Likely Stories," and other things. One of them games with a former con organizer, I think that's how they got in.
Brian Shearer: Gravyboy
Unwilling to allow the Devil's Panties to propagate unchecked at our wonderful con, the folks at Gravyboy are continuing their rivalry with Jennie Breeden by gracing us with their presence. Woot!
Kel McDonald: Sorcery 101
Apparently, Kel has discovered the power to channel people into comic form, at least one Guilfordite has a doppelgangers in Sorcery 101. Be afraid. She draws a modern fantasy tale. Most of us want tales[sic] that wag like the werewolves.
Jamie Robertson: Clan of the Cats
Jamie Robertson is the awesome webcomic author/artist of the popular thing known as "Clan of the Cats." Some urban fantasy with a mix of seriousness and humor.
Larry Holderfeld: Sinister Bedfellows
Some surreality, interesting pictures and random observations about life. :-)
Joe Komenda: Feral-Chicken
I want one of the feral duckies myself. Or the mouse. You know, something like that. Joe's a good people.
Leah Riley: Willrad
To quote, it's a "A webcomic-y thing by Leah and Will"
Mike Moon: Catgirl Island
Lots of art and stories by Mike Moon about a fictional island, populated by Catgirls, off the coast of NC.
Dan Johnson: Herc and Thor
He writes a real live comic! How about that? He is also a gag writed for the Dennis the Menace comic and has contributed to Alter Ego, Comic Book Marketplace, Filmfax and Scary Monsters Magazine.
Rachel Nabors: Subculture of One
She does comics for gURL.com, runs mangapunk.com, and self-publishes some comics too. Rachel does a lot of stuff, so it should be awesome having her at the con.
Ursula Vernon: Digger
"am I a water saphire?" -comic 25. It's very well drawn with good background and a fun and entertaining storline. It also made me laugh. A lot.
Thomas Boatwright: Cemetary Blues
Has a couple of comics in print, or in the process of being printed, that look quite awesome. For more cool pics head over to his deviantart
Arienna Lee: A World Like My Own
A World Like My Own is a very personal comic. It deals with the real-life things people face after college; getting a job, being able to pay rent and bills, living on your own, and having friends there to help you.
John Kazuo Morehead: DigiTribe Productions
Another Ascended Yachting member, John has been directing movies and doing other geeky things like running LARPs, etc. He's coming to screen "After", a zombie short, and "Geekin'" a feature length geek romantic comedy. As well as debuting a short film based on H.P. Lovecraft's "The Statement of Randolph Carter" before the Crapathon!

For those vampire fans out there, and I know there are, here is the author of ACTUAL FACTUAL: DRACULA, A Compendium of Vampires
A Dark Fantasy RPG that looks like a lot of fun. And Doom, can't forget that. They even have a bunch of spiffy generators to come up with fun names and things for the game.
We've also got werewolf fans. Ivy Cole and the Moon is mix of horror and fantasy, and the sequel should be out soon.
