Con-stuff (already)
Just to let people know, we have a date set for the next What the Hell?! Con: Feb 6-8 2009. We don't know the location yet, but already have a decent guest and vendor list, which keeps growing. Yay WTHCon!
Yachting!
Yay, school has started which means so has Yachting Club. We've got lots of things planned over the year, so it should be lots of fun. Don't forget about all our weekly events: Regular meetings (10/10:30 pm Thurs Upstairs Bauman), Anime Night (6 pm Fri King 123), and SOG (7pm Sat every other week, starts mid-Sept). We also like to hold a weekly Jon Hatch Game night- not run by Jon but he provides the games. We do not currently have anyone to run it, and are looking for volunteers. It involves bringing a bag of games for a few hours to Founders Lobby or Upstairs Founders around 6 or 8pm on like Tu or Wed. Anyone interested? E-mail us.
New Website
The website has been redone. It it certainly not finished, but it's getting there and the gallery is finally up! News Archives and Ships Logs have been broken up by year/month where applicable. The Library has been broken up by section. Basically, we no longer have any really really really long pages of text.
I know that it works on Firefox v2.0 and IE6 at 1280x1024, and that it's currently doing a few weird things like shifting to the left when links are clicked in the main part of the window. Have yet to test Netscape/Opera/Safari/other resolutions, but I will be eventually. All this should be resolved over the summer, I just wanted to get the new site up for now.
