2/29-3/1 Guilford College's Hip-Hop Now Series

The "Hip-Hop Now" will be celebrating the talents of artists who through Hip-Hop show social relevance, originality, and a focused dedication to produce art that challenges American mainstream artistic expression. Hip-hop has brought much needed dialogue to issues affecting America's youth and Black community. Through the panel and from the performances at the showcase it our hope that similar dialogues are continued here at Guilford College and throughout the Greensboro Community.

Pannel Discussions about the history of hip-hop, women in hip-hop, and hip-hop as a tool for social change will be taking place in Bryan Auditorium on Friday February 29th.

On Saturday March 1st there will be a concert in the Alumni Gym featureing beat boxing, hip-hop dancers, slam poetry, and hip-hop artists and DJs.
