
QUAKERS SNAP SKID WITH ODAC SOCCER WIN AT SWEET BRIAR
Sweet Briar, VA (9/23/98) Visiting Guilford outshot Sweet Briar, 37-6, but senior forward Ingrid Werge (Ft. Collins, CO/Roosevelt (MD)) had the only shot to find the back of the net to lift the Quakers to 1-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women's soccer win over Sweet Briar Wednesday afternoon. The goal was Werge's second of the season.
Sophomore Jenny Akman (Washington, DC/Georgetown Prep) registered four saves for her second shutout of the season and helped the Quakers snap a two-game losing skid.
