
GUILFORD'S WOMEN'S SOCCER GETS FIRST VICTORY IN OVERTIME
Greensboro, NC (9/6/98) -- Rookie Amy Evans (New Bern, NC/New Bern) scored her second career goal with 7:25 left in overtime to secure Guilford's first win of the season over visiting Sewanee. Senior Alison Schott, playing injured, entered the game with about five minutes left in overtime and provided the assist to Evans. It was Evans' second goal in as many games and gave the Quakers their second consecutive win over Sewanee after winning the Sewanee Classic last year.
