
GUILFORD DOWNS GREENSBORO TO WRAP UP 1998 SEASON
Greensboro, NC (10/30/98) Guilford ended its 1998 season with a 6-1 win over cross-town rival Greensboro College Friday afternoon. The win gave the Quakers their second highest win total in school history (10). Freshman Amy Evans' three goals and two assists led the team. Her team-leading 18 goals tied her with senior teammate Alison Schott for the single-season goal record and her 39 points rank second with teammate Jessica Lee in single-season points. Freshman Lisa Bray scored the first two goals of her career and seniors Lauren Gill and Luisella Perri scored their first points of the season, each with an assist. The Quakers outshot the Pride, 28-5.
