SCHOTT BREAKS CAREER GOALS RECORD AND GIVES QUAKERS OT WIN

Greensboro, NC — Senior Alison Schott's (Lyons, NY/Lyons) game-winning goal gave Guilford a 1-0 win over Randolph-Macon Woman's College and broke Betsy Noell's '89 career goal record with her 30th career goal. Schott's shot squirted by the Wildcats' goalkeeper at 96:15 and gave the Quakers their third straight win.

The midfielder's goal was her sixth of the season and set her fourth Guilford record. She also holds the school's season records for goals and points and the career mark for points.

The Quakers outshot the visitors, 39-5. Sophomore goalie Jenny Akman made three saves for her fifth shutout of the year.
