SAVANNAH A&D BLANKS GUILFORD, 3-0, IN WOMEN'S SOCCER

Greensboro, NC (10/01/00) — The Savannah College of Art & Design maintained its perfect record with a dominating 3-0 women's soccer win over host Guilford Sunday afternoon. Sophomore Larissa Stec (Beaverton, OR) scored a goal and an assist for the Bees, who improved to 10-0 with the win.

Junior Emma Hastings (Norfolk, England) put the visitors on the board in the 21st minute after she put home the rebound of her own penalty kick, which was blocked by Guilford senior goalkeeper Jenny Akman (Washington, DC/Georgetown Day).

Stec set up the Bees' second goal in the 59th minute with a corner kick that sophomore Erica Gajewski (Ontario, CA) redirected into the goal. Stec finished the scoring with an unassisted goal in the 66th minute.
