BRIDGEWATER DEFEATS GUILFORD, 2-1, IN WOMEN'S SOCCER
Bridgewater, VA (09/22/00) - Bridgewater's Julia Lind scored the winning goal in overtime Friday afternoon to lift the Eagles to a 2-1 win over Guilford Friday.
Guilford scored first when junior Amy Evans (New Bern, NC/New Bern) scored her team-leading third goal of the season at the 22:13 mark of the second half.
Five minutes later, the Eagles tied the score on a goal by Sandy Lagana with the assist going to Tracy Kmiotek.
Lind then found the back of the net with the game winner off an assist from Diana Bollard.
