
RANDOLPH-MACON AWAKENS FOR 3-0 WOMEN'S SOCCER WIN OVER GUILFORD
Ashland, VA (09/16/00) Rookie forward Jamie Zeiters (Chester, VA/Thomas Dale) and senior Jenn Dadura (Mickleton, NJ/Kingsway Regional) each scored a goal and an assist in Randolph-Macon's 3-0 Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) win over Guilford (2-4-1, 1-2 ODAC) Saturday. The Yellow Jackets (3-3, 2-1 ODAC) tallied all three goals in the final 12:30 of the game.
Sophomore midfielder Allison Picarde (Edgewater, MD/St. Mary's) broke the scoreless tie off a corner kick by Dadura. in the 78th minute. Dadura provided an insurance tally less than four minutes later off a Zeiters assist.
Randolph-Macon rookie goaltender Ashley Seal (Richmond, VA/Collegiate School) earned the shutout with seven saves. Guilford senior Jenny Akman (Washington, DC/Georgetown Day) made 10 saves in defeat.
