
QUAKERS DROP THIRD STRAIGHT WOMEN'S SOCCER MATCH
Ferrum, VA (10/06/99) Ferrum scored three second-half goals to break open a 1-0 game and handed visiting Guilford its third straight loss Wednesday, 4-0.
Sophomore Jennifer Dodson found the back of the net to give the Panthers a narrow 1-0 lead at halftime. Goals by Kerri Suljic, Liz Adams, and Mary Jennette in the final half secured the win.
Guilford junior goalkeeper Jenny Akman (Washington, DC/Georgetown Day) recorded 16 saves in defeat. Ferrum keeper Tara Bell recorded two saves as the Panthers became just the second team to keep Guilford scoreless this season.
The Quakers are back in action this Sunday at home versus Randolph-Macon at 1:00 pm.
