GUILFORD DROPS LAST HOME MATCH OF 1999, 1-0

Greensboro, NC (10/16/99) — Senior Cindy Castellanos (Philadelphia, PA/Christopher Dock) scored in the 55th minute and Tara Froese (Inman, KS/Inman) made seven saves as visiting Eastern Mennonite dealt Guilford its sixth straight loss Saturday, 1-0.  The contest marked the Quakers' (4-12, 2-7 ODAC) final home game of the 1999 campaign.

Eastern Mennonite (6-9, 5-5 ODAC), in its first season of varsity women's soccer, recorded its fourth straight win and secured a bid in the ODAC Tournament.

Guilford junior goalkeeper Jenny Akman (Washington, DC/Georgetown Day) recorded 18 saves in defeat and moved to within 14 stops of the ODAC career saves mark of 463.
