Assistant Coach Bari Nixon

One of Guilford's top student-athletes in recent years, Bari Nixon '97 returns to her alma mater to assist her former team. The seventh all-time leading scorer in Guilford history, Nixon scored 1,119 points in her three seasons with the Quakers and served as an assistant coach in 1998-99. She received All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) honors in 1995 and 1997 and helped Guilford to a 56-23 record in her tenure. Nixon has the only two triple-doubles in coach Barb Bausch's eight years at Guilford and holds six school three-point field goal records, plus Guilford's single-game steals mark.

Nixon has been coaching a Greensboro Lady Gaters AAU team for the past three years. She graduated with a double major in elementary education and justice and policy studies.
