Assistant Coach Rob Brafford

Rob Brafford begins his first season assisting the women's team after working with Guilford's men's team for the past two seasons. He came to Guilford after coaching the boys’ and girls’ hoops teams at Halifax Academy in Roanoke Rapids, NC. The girls reached the 1998 private school state basketball tournament and earned a number-12 state ranking, while the boys captured the Colonial Carolina-Southern Conference regular-season title.

Brafford spent five years at Emmanuel College in Georgia where he assisted the NAIA Lions’ men’s team. He earned an associate’s degree from Emmanuel and a bachelor’s degree in health and physical education from the University of Georgia in 1995. He and his wife, Kim, live in High Point with their two sons, Trey and Christopher.
