JANKOWSKI LIFTS GUILFORD TO ODAC WOMEN'S LACROSSE WIN
Roanoke, VA (3/31/99) -- Junior Jenn Jankowski (Bethlehem, CT/Westover School) scored four goals and an assist to lead Guilford over host Hollins University, 12-9, in Old Dominion Athletic Conference women's lacrosse action Wednesday.
The Quakers (5-5, 3-2 ODAC) overcame a sluggish start to overcome an early 3-1 deficit and force a 5-5 halftime score.
Senior Tina Schroeter (Reisterstown, MD/Garrison Forest) netted three goals for Guilford while sophomore Kate Allen (Cumberland, RI/Lincoln School) and freshman Melissa Urann (Plymouth, MA/Falmouth Academy) each tallied twice. Hollins' Rachel Scanlon (Canterbury, NH) led all scorers with six goals and an assist.
The Quakers visit crosstown rival Greensboro College next Tuesday (4/6) at 3:00 pm.
