
GUILFORD WOMEN'S LACROSSE TEAM FALLS TO OHIO, 13-11
Davidson, NC (3/26/99) -- Guilford College lost to Division I Ohio University Friday afternoon at Davidson College by a 13-11 margin. The loss drops the Quakers' record to 3-4 on the year, while the Bobcats (1-1) record the initial win in the program's history.
Junior attack Jenn Jankowski (Bethlehem, CT/Westover School) again led the Guilford squad with five goals and one assist. She leads the team in scoring this year with 30 points. Senior defender Tina Schroeter (Reisterstown, MD/Garrison Forest) added three goals for the Quakers, giving her 24 points on the year.
Senior goaltender Lauren Gill (Beverly, MA/Waring School) added 12 more saves to her previous total of 55 this year for Guilford.
The Quakers take on Old Dominion Athletic Conference rival Virginia Wesleyan Saturday, March 27 at 1:00 pm in Norfolk, VA.
