JANKOWSKI LEADS QUAKERS TO ODAC LACROSSE WIN AT SWEET BRIAR
Sweet Briar, VA (3/22/99) -- Guilford scored twice in the opening minute and never looked back on the way to a 15-3 win over Sweet Briar Sunday afternoon. The win breaks a two-game losing streak and marks the Quakers' third straight win over the Vixens.
Senior attack Jenn Jankowski (Bethlehem, CT/Westover School) led the Quakers with five goals and an assist while senior center Luisella Perri (Towaco, NJ/Boonton) added a goal plus a career-high four assists.
The Quakers (2-3, 1-1 ODAC) scored four times in the first 4:24 of the game and opened a 6-0 advantage before Sweet Briar's Jessie Livingston put the Vixens (1-3, 1-2 ODAC) on the board with 9:03 left in the first half.
Guilford's Nel Andrews (Burlington, VT/Northfield-Mount Hermon (MA)) and Abbey Weiner (Kings Park, NY/Kings Park) each set career highs with three and two goals, respectively.
