JANKOWSKI SCORES FIVE IN GUILFORD WOMEN'S LACROSSE LOSS TO HOWARD

Greensboro, NC (04/15/00) -- Senior attack Jenn Jankowski (Bethlehem, CT/Westover School) scored a season-high five goals in her final home game, but Guilford fell to Division I Howard, 13-7, Saturday morning on Haworth Field. The Quakers, now winless in their last eight games, fall to 1-11 on the year, while the Bison improve to 5-9 with their second straight victory.

Jankowski scored the first two goals of the game but the Quakers only scored on a Melissa Urann (Plymouth, MA/Falmouth Academy) tally for the rest of the first half and they went into halftime trailing 6-3.

Freshman midfielder Lafawn Harrison (Lumberton, NJ) led all scorers with six goals. Howard also received three goals from junior attack Marguerite Lanau (Long Island, NY).

The Quakers' next game is this Monday (4/17) at Greensboro College at 4:00 p.m.
