GUILFORD WOMEN'S LACROSSE FALLS TO DIVISION II LIMESTONE, 25-1
Greensboro, NC (03/14/00)-- Junior attack Megan Crouse (Gambrills, MD/Arundel) scored five goals and six assists in Division II Limestone College's 25-1 victory over Guilford Tuesday afternoon. Limestone (3-0) is ranked fifth in this week's IWCLA Division II Women's Lacrosse Poll.Ten different players found the back of the net for the Saints, who scored eight times in the game's first 15 minutes and led 15-0 at halftime. Guilford scored its first goal of the season on a free-position shot by sophomore midfielder Melissa Urann (Plymouth, MA/Falmouth Academy) five and a half minutes into the second half. Quakers' freshman goalie Ruth Weening (East Kingston, NH/Exeter) made 10 saves.
The Quakers host Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) rival Sweet Briar Friday afternoon at 4:00.
