SAVANNAH A&D DEALS GUILFORD SECOND STRAIGHT SHUTOUT
Greensboro, NC -- Junior midfielder Shawn dos Santos and freshman forward Marten Magnusson tallied second-half goals to lift visiting Savannah College of Art & Design to a 2-0 non-conference men's soccer win over Guilford Sunday afternoon.
The teams played to a scoreless first half before dos Santos broke the tie off an assist from senior midfielder Brent Arnold in the 55th minute. Magnusson netted an insurance goal from rookie John Attridge with just under eight minutes left in the game.
The Quakers close out a stretch of four games in seven days Tuesday afternoon when they visit Ferrum in a non-conference match.
