
LYNCHBURG SCORES 2-0 MEN'S SOCCER WIN OVER GUILFORD
Greensboro, NC (9/19/98) Visiting Lynchburg College stayed unbeaten in 1998 with a 2-0 shutout of host Guilford Saturday afternoon in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference matchup.
The Hornets (4-0-2, 1-0 ODAC) got their first goal of the day with just over 12 minutes left in the first half when junior back Kyle Cook scored off of an assist by rookie midfielder Joseph Wright. The second goal came about six minutes later off of a penalty kick by junior forward Andrew Miller.
