A dangerous offensive player with great speed, athleticism and touch… strong candidate for post season honors… with the new players on this year’s team, he should be able to focus more exclusively on scoring goals… ranks ninth on the school’s career scoring list… 1998: Led the Quakers and ranked second in the ODAC with 13 goals, the most scored by a Guilford player since 1992… his 27 points ranked sixth on Guilford’s single-season scoring chart and marked the most by a Quakers’ rookie since 1991… spent part of the season at sweeper and center midfield… enjoyed four multi-goal matches, including hat tricks versus Montreat and Emory & Henry… compiled a career-best seven points (3g, 1a) and scored the game-winning goal in overtime against Emory & Henry… also hit the game winner in OT win at Chowan… Personal: Attended Muhlenberg College in 1997, but did not play soccer… concluded his scholastic career at the Pennington School for Coach James Robbins with 64 goals and 26 assists… received first team all-state prep school honors from the Newark Star-Ledger in 1996… a three-time Trenton Times all-area selection… earned first team all-conference prep 'B' laurels in each of his three varsity seasons… played with New Jersey's Olympic Development Program from 1993-97… a two-year club player with the NJ Knights "Reds" and a state cup champion as a member of the Central Jersey Cosmos… named the Most Valuable Player of the 1994 New Jersey State Cup… son of Lois Bennett… sport management major.
