THREE GUILFORD BASKETBALL GAMES MOVED TO GREENSBORO DAY SCHOOL

Greensboro, NC (01/03/02) -- Guilford College's next three men's basketball games will be played at Greensboro Day School instead of Guilford's Ragan-Brown Field House. The field house is undergoing renovations to the heating and air conditioning system between the school's fall and spring semesters.

The affected games are Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) matchups. They include the Quakers' January 5 contest with nationally ranked Randolph-Macon and their January 6 game against Virginia Wesleyan. Both weekend contests begin at 2:00 p.m. Guilford's January 9 game versus Roanoke will be played at Greensboro Day School beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The three contests will mark a homecoming of sorts for two Guilford players, senior center Aron McMillian (Greensboro, NC) and sophomore guard Ron Bradford (Eden, NC), both of whom played scholastically at Greensboro Day School. McMillian (11.2 ppg., 6.9 rpg.) and Bradford (11.3 ppg.) are key players for Coach Butch Estes' Quakers (5-4, 2-2 ODAC).

Admission to Guilford's men's basketball games is $3 for adults, $1 for students under 18.

Guilford's January 10 women's basketball game with Roanoke is still scheduled to be played in the Ragan-Brown Field House.
