Two nights later, the 6-5, 210-pound co-captain hit for a game-high 14 points and grabbed a team-best eight rebounds in the Quakers' 53-52 ODAC win over visiting Emory & Henry. He concluded his week with a 10-point, seven-rebound showing in a 62-49 road loss to 14th-ranked Hampden-Sydney December 9.

Ashworth has scored in double figures in five straight contests and ranks second on the team with a 10.7 points per game average. He leads the club in rebounding (5.2 rpg) and steals (1.3 spg) and stands second with a .529 field-goal percentage. A three-year starter, Ashworth needs 13 points for 600 in his career and is 67 rebounds shy of 500 career boards.

Coach Butch Estes' club finished the fall semester with a 3-6 overall record, including a 2-1 ODAC mark. The Quakers return to action at home Wednesday January 3 against league-rival Washington and Lee.
