Aaron Denton
Assistant Coach
Aaron Denton enters his third season as a Guilford assistant, but his first as a non-student. The Bunn, NC, native graduated from Guilford in May, 2000, with a double major in business and sport management and is pursuing his masters degree in business administration at UNC Greensboro. A four-year football letter winner, Denton played basketball as a sophomore, but a football injury forced him to the sidelines the following year. He spent the 1998-99 season as the lone assistant to longtime Quakers head coach Jack Jensen. Denton played basketball at Bunn High School and has worked many camps, including Guilford alumnus Dave Odom's '64 Wake Forest Basketball Camp and the Hørsholm Invitational Camp in Denmark. An accomplished student, Denton received Guilfords Dana and Charles C. Hendricks Scholarships and was a two-time Academic All-District football player.
