Guilford's top returning scorer… one of the team's top athletes and all-around players… a natural-two guard, but will play small forward thanks to exceptional athleticism… a great leaper and very creative off the dribble… very well coached… 1998-99: Guilford's second-leading scorer and top perimeter defender… ranked second in the ODAC in steals per game and made a career-best five thefts versus Virginia Wesleyan (2/6) and Emory & Henry (2/10)… led Guilford's scorers four times, including in a career-high 23-point effort against Emory & Henry (2/10)… reached double-digit point totals in 11 of 18 contests, including three 20-point games… established career highs of six rebounds, four assists and three three-point field goals… scored 16 points in a league-high 42 minutes in win over Lynchburg (12/2)… High School: A two-time All-Triad 3-A Conference selection for Coach Ray Hartsfield's East Chapel Hill H.S. squad… teamed with Guilford teammate Paul Kindem to lead the Wildcats to the 1997 3-A state basketball championship… helped East Chapel Hill to the a 1998 conference title and a state sectional crown… attracted attention from Division I football teams as an all-conference receiver and defensive back… received all-league track honors… Personal: Played five years for Coach John French in the Sertoma AAU program in Durham, NC… helped the squad to four North Carolina AAU regional championship games, including two titles… born Stephen Brad Woolley 6/13/80 in Trenton, NJ… son of Stephen and Barbara Woolley… business management major.
