Head Coach Brian Judski

Brian Judski succeeded, Steve MacDermut after five seasons as Guilford's men's tennis coach in the fall of 2000. Since the Quakers didn't field a team in 2001, this year marks his first season as head coach.

Judski served as the assistant women's tennis coach at Division I Furman University in 1997 where he assisted head coach Debbie Southern in recruiting and player development. He gained his first collegiate coaching experience at Binghamton University three years earlier as an assistant to Mike Starke's nationally ranked Colonials' team. Judski also assisted the Central New York Region squad in the 1993 Empire State Games.

A Binghamton, NY, native, Judski played number-one singles for Seton Catholic High School for three seasons and earned All-Southern Tier Athletic Conference laurels as a senior in 1988. He played fourth- and fifth-singles over two seasons at Oswego State and posted the Lakers' top freshman record in 1989. He transferred to Clemson the following year and graduated with a bachelor's degree in accounting in 1992.

Judski joined Guilford's athletics staff in August 1999, as an assistant to head men's basketball coach Butch Estes. Before coming to Guilford, he spent two seasons as the administrative assistant coach for Furman University's men's basketball team and directed the Greenville County (SC) 17-under AAU boys' team in 1998-99.
