Comes from a long line of successful lacrosse coaches and players… a solid technical player who gives Guilford depth and versatility… 2002: started in all 14 games as a defenseman... paced Guilford twice in ground balls gathering six ground balls in Guilford's loss to Mary Washington and three in another loss to Washington and Lee... finished seventh on the team in ground balls. 2001: Ranked sixth on the team with eight goals and 12 points... top scorer in four games... helped the Quakers to a 7-6 victory over Wheeling Jesuit with a game- and career-high two goals... ranked eighth on the team with 31 ground balls . He had a career- and game-high seven pickups against Mars Hill... High School: Lettered four years in lacrosse, soccer and basketball at the Sandy Spring Friends School… scored a team-high 52 goals and 19 assists for Coach Wilson Felter’s MILL champion team as a senior… earned first team All-Montgomery County Journal and All-MILL honors in 2000… picked up second team All-County and first team All-MILL laurels after scoring a team-high 59 goals as a junior… earned second team all-league honors and set the school shutouts record as a soccer goaltender… Personal: Son of Karen and Lucky Mallonee… sport management major.
