One of the Quakers’ more experienced linemen… can play all three offensive line spots… needs to be healthy and fit to contribute regularly...2001: split time this season as a guard and a defensive tackle in the seven of the 10 games played by the Quakers... had four tackles on defense, including two September 8 in a 28-6 win over Methodist... Injuries to the Quakers' offensive front forced him to move to guard for two games...  moved back to defense afterwards where he played as a backup noseguard for the rest of the season.… 2000: Appeared in eight games, starting the last seven… missed the first two games with a sprained knee suffered in the intersquad scrimmage… 1999: Started the season opener at center, but moved to tackle for the rest of the season… started all 10 games… 1998: Redshirt season… Personal: Nicknamed “J.Y.D.”… Bonner Scholarship recipient… earned All-Franklin County and All-Tar Roanoke Area Conference honors at center for Coach Al Bolton’s Louisburg H.S. team… three-year letter winner… son of George Raymond and Geraldine Manley… sports medicine major.
