2001: A left-handed hitting outfielder, became Guilford's first freshman All-ODAC selection... A second-team pick, he ranked fifth among the Quakers' regular hitters with a .358 average and 14 stolen bases in 19 attempts, which placed second on the team and sixth in the league... hit over .350 for most of the season despite missing eight early-season games due to injury... enjoyed a 10-game hitting streak in April, which included one of his four three-hit games... twice plated a career-high four runners against Southern Virginia and went 2-5 with a personal-best three stolen bases versus nationally ranked Methodist... hit .396 with seven steals and a team-high 12 runs against ODAC teams... Personal: Earned All-Section honors during his four-years under head coach Dave Anderson at Plum High and helped the team to a WPIAL league championship... a three year letter winner in wrestling earned All-Valley and All-Sectional Laurels... son of Al and Pat McCauley... sports management major.
