Office of the Treasurer
The Treasurer of Community Senate is responsible for supervising/managing all financial business of Senate. This includes overseeing the expenditures and financial standing of all student organizations, managing the Senate budget, assisting club treasurers with concerns, and reviewing requisitions. The Treasurer serves as the Chair of the Budget Committee which proposes a budget proposal for the following year. The Treasurer serves as a member of the Inter-Club Council.
Some powers of the Treasurer include:
- The power to approve or deny requisitions by student organizations.
- The power to recommend candidates for vacant Senate positions to the Executive Council.
