| This exhibition featured photographs by Guilford College alum David Spear. The artist, a former newspaper publisher, spent seven years photographing and interviewing his neighbors, the Neugents, a tobacco-raising family in Madison, North Carolina. Spear's photo-documentary book of the same title, was published by The Jargon Society in 1993.
